Testing of UAS (Drones)

National Test House, Ghaziabad

India's First Government Drone Environmental Testing Begins at NTH. :

The Drone Laboratory,NTH(NR) has created the following Environmental test facilities to undertake testing as per Ministry of Civil Aviation gazette

  • 1Climatic Chamber is having test space of Minimum(H*W*D) 1150 mmx 1990 m x 1200 mmto undertake Cold,Damp and Dry Heat tests of Temperature Range: -40°C to 180°C and Humidity Range 10 to 98 % RH.The test set up shall be commissioned Mid Sep 2025 at NTH,Ghaziabad.
  • 2Half Sine,200g,Pay load 300kg Mechanical shock test, Sawtooth Test, 100g, 300kg, Mechanical shock test and Trapezoidal, 100g, 300kg, Mechanical shock test as per IEC 60068-2-27:2008. The test set up is available at NTH,Ghaziabad.
  • 33 cubic meter,Dust Test Facility available to carry out IP1X to IP6X as per IEC 60529. The test set up is available at NTH,Ghaziabad.

a. Pay Load Capacity:300kg,Half Sine:200g Maximum.
b. Pay Load Capacity:100kg,Sawtooth:100g Maximum.
c. Pay Load Capacity:100kg,Trapezoidal:100g Maximum. 		IEC 60068-2 27
3. Dust Ingress Protection (IPX3,IPX4,IPX5,IPX6) Maximum Pay Load Weight:150kg,Chamber Volume: 3m3 IEC 60529.
4. Water Ingress Protection (IPX3,IPX4,IPX5,IPX6) Maximum Chamber Volume: 1.8m3 IEC 60529.(Coming soon)
5. Battery Tester (04 Channels,0-75VDC,100Amps per channel) IS 17855:2022, IS 14257 : 2019, IS 15549 : 2005, IS 16373 : 2015 standards. (Coming soon)
